Vietnam Airlines is the national airline carrier of Vietnam and the airline started its operations on April 1989 as a state enterprise. Although the base of the airline was kept in late 1980s but later on in 1973 the airline was formed. Today the airline is under controlled by seven individuals management board, which are appointed by the Prime Minister. Currently the airline is hoping to expand its operations with the increase of the tourism in Vietnam. Vietnam airlines also accept this fact and the airline is providing the complete training to the pilots. After 2000 the airline started the training of the pilots and the staff. Some of the courses arranged by the airline are crew-resource management, cabin crew training, and various other such trainings. The airline is also providing the training to the pilots by getting the help of the western pilots. There are some of the domestic and some of the foreign pilots employed by the airline and similarly there are more Vietnamese in the crew while there are some foreigners in crew. This all shows that the airline is trying its best to provide the quality services to the customers and the customers can also get what they desire for. But still there is a need to wait for the best services which hopefully the airline will provide in the coming future.
